2. What is a DTF transfer?

A DTF transfer, or direct-to-film transfer, is a printed design that is applied to a garment using a heat press. DTF transfers can produce vibrant colors, fine details, and durable results on many light and dark-colored fabrics.

3. What DTF ordering options are available?

We offer three convenient ways to order:

• Rolling DTF Gang Sheet Builder: Arrange multiple designs online and create a custom-length gang sheet.

• Upload Your DTF Gang Sheet: Upload a completed, print-ready gang sheet using one of our fixed size options.

• DTF Transfers by Size: Order individual transfers using your required width and height.

4. How much do DTF transfers cost?

Our DTF products are priced at $0.02 per square inch.

The pricing formula is:

Width × Height × $0.02

For example, a 10″ × 10″ transfer contains 100 square inches:

10 × 10 × $0.02 = $2.00

5. What sizes are available for DTF gang sheets?

Our gang sheets have a fixed width of 22 inches. Available lengths begin at 12 inches and extend up to 300 inches.

The Rolling DTF Gang Sheet Builder calculates the finished length automatically. The Upload Your DTF Gang Sheet product provides fixed size options.

6. What is the difference between building and uploading a gang sheet?

Choose the Rolling DTF Gang Sheet Builder if you want to upload individual designs and arrange them using an online builder.

Choose Upload Your DTF Gang Sheet if your complete gang sheet is already designed, correctly sized, and ready for printing.

7. What artwork format should I submit?

For the best printing results, submit a high-resolution PNG file with a transparent background. Artwork should preferably be created at 300 DPI and submitted at the exact size you want printed.

Low-resolution, blurry, pixelated, or incorrectly prepared artwork may affect the finished print quality.

8. Will you remove the background from my artwork?

Customers should submit artwork with the background already removed unless design assistance has been arranged separately. A white background in an image may print as part of the design.

Always review your file carefully before submitting your order.

9. Should I mirror my DTF artwork?

Please submit your artwork in its normal, readable orientation unless the product instructions specifically tell you otherwise. Review your design carefully before uploading to ensure all text, spelling, dimensions, and design elements are correct.

10. What fabrics can DTF transfers be applied to?

DTF transfers commonly work on cotton, polyester, cotton-polyester blends, and several other heat-compatible materials. Because fabrics and heat presses vary, always test an unfamiliar garment or material before completing a large production run.

11. Do I need a heat press?

A heat press is strongly recommended for consistent temperature, pressure, and professional results. A household iron may not provide the even heat and pressure required for proper application.

Always follow the recommended DTF pressing instructions before applying your transfer.

Yes. If you have an idea but are unsure how to prepare it, contact us before placing your order. Please include your preferred product, quantity, dimensions, needed-by date, and any reference images that explain your vision.
